Issues. . .

So, I just posted about how excited I am to be on Cleveland's Fox 8 City Voter and the links won't work - the lord only knows what kind of issues are making this happen.  So in the meantime, remember that we'll be on the City Voter and when it's fixed please vote for us :)

King James is RIDICULOUS!

I've been very into basketball recently because of March Madness insanity so when my husband showed me this clip of Lebron casually making  a single-handed shot from half court (actually, it's even farther than that!!) I was enthralled.  The clip is from his 60 Minutes Interview that will air this Sunday.  Check it out:

JetBlue Makes Me Giggle

So, I was watching President Obama on Jay Leno on Hulu  the other day (yeah, did you all follow that?!?  lol!  I love Hulu by the way!) and one of the commercials was for JetBlue.  Their new advertising campaign is entitled "Welcome Big Wigs" and it's all about CEO's not being able to fly on their corporate jets anymore.  So I went to www.welcomebigwigs.com and watched all three videos.  They are hysterical!!

Coolest Thing EVER - Wordle

Casey & Josh - 02.14.09 - Part Two

As promised, here are a few more details from Casey and Josh's big day, as well as some of my favorite images -  all by Alaina at Ace of Images.  She's SO talented (not to mention that Casey and Josh make great subjects!!).

In all the talk about this wedding, I forgot to mention that not only are Casey and Josh adorable, they have quite the love story - they are HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS :)  I love love!!

Me playing seamstress before (one of Casey's rhinestone buttons fell off the back of her dress and I sewed it back on) and after the wedding (her dress didn't have a bustle, so I created a makeshift one with safety pins).

My studly husband and my daddy setting up a last minute table - I just LOVE the motion in this pic (it helps that it has two of my favorite men in it, too!!)!

The emotion in this shot is fabulous!  I believe the Father of the Bride (my Uncle Gary) just said, "We're happy to welcome Josh into the family, I guess. . ." not realizing what he just said - it was hysterical!

I am whole-heartedly against wallpapering (I just watched my sister-in-law rip down two bathrooms full of it so we could renovate - ugh!).  However, I am ALL about wallpaper in small spaces like in the back of cabinets, on shelves, etc.  It's a great way to add a little bit of fun patterned color and that is exactly what I intend to do in our new house!  So I started looking and found the amazing designyourwall.com - they have quite the assortment of gorgeous wall coverings as well as window and floor coverings.  You can even design your own!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day

I'm so excited to be back in Ohio for Saint Patrick's Day - it just isn't celebrated enough in the South.  It's such a fun holiday :)

Casey & Josh - 02.14.09 - Part One

I don't have photos yet of the stationery I created for Casey and Josh's rockin' Valentine's Day wedding, but I did put together quite the Photo Board of other things my sister, my mom and I designed for the big day!  Just as a refresher here - this wedding was planned in eight weeks with a budget of $1,000 (along with the help and love of so many fabulous/talented friends and family).  Check back soon for even more images and details from the day.

Kay Unger

So I saw and fell in LOVE with this image on the amazing Style Me Pretty blog. . .

. . . so I followed the link to the designer's web site - Kay Unger (who just happens to be the groom's mother - what a lucky couple to have such a talented family!!).  It all made sense the second I saw that Ms. Unger is the same woman responsible for Phoebe Couture - the designer of the dress I wore for the bridal shower my mother-in-law threw me in the summer of 2007!
