The event was hosted by The Knot's own Karrie Ploss at Bar Cento on West 25th. The evening began with drinks and delicious hors d'oeuvres (I was absolutely in love with all of the cheese and prosciutto - mmmm) which gave you the chance to mingle or get your photo taken at the Photo Booth that was set up by the people at ShutterBooth. We then settled in for a short presentation from The Knot's uber-intelligent (seriously, this man might have reached genius status when it comes to knowing what brides want!) VP of Local Strategic Solutions, Alan Berg. Afterwards they sent us each home with these great little tote bags full of all sorts of yummy goodies from places like A Cookie & A Cupcake, Freedom Bakery & Confections and Wild Flour Bakery!!
We were so lucky to meet some amazing people at the event, here is a picture of us with Alan Berg and the very talented Jesse and Nelli Boone of Finest Moments. Nelli also owns Agape Threads which is a great place to have your environmentally friendly wedding dress created especially for you! We also met the SO VERY nice Justin and Anna-Jeannine Herman of Something New Entertainment. It was so nice speaking to them - we had issues at our wedding with the DJ - because they recognize the problems couples generally come across and have ways to address these types of issues.
Thanks, Amanda. It was a great event and I really enjoyed talking with you and Ilario. I always enjoy coming to Cleveland for The Knot networking events. Thanks for blogging about it.
