It's always nice to hear about people who have been married for a long time, especially when you're getting ready to tie the knot yourself. When you're planning a wedding you don't want to hear how high the divorce rate is or think about how so many people treat marriage like a middle school dance, hopping from partner to partner. It seems as though even the people we admire like politicians and celebrities (be on the lookout for a Celebrity Inspirated Wedding Board on WeddingAces - it was difficult to include only people still together) have no idea what a true, honest marriage is.
When I came across Time Magazine's photo gallery entitled, "Married for 50 Years: Love Ever After" I was in awe - all of the couples included in the gallery have been married 50 years or more. Each couple's photo includes a little story about their lives or how they met. It is absolutely stunning and so very reassuring to couples at any stage in their relationship. Enjoy and be inspired by their everlasting love. . .
