Since I found this recipe (and tweaked, of course!) I haven't bought a single taco seasoning packet - it's perfect and makes a nice, large batch that you can store in an air tight container. Mmm. . . I think I'll be making some tacos this week :o)
Taco Seasoning Mix

2 T. chili powder
2 t. paprika
2 t. red pepper flakes
1½ t. dried oregano
½ t. dried marjoram
4 t. salt
¼ t. pepper
1 T. cornstarch
1 T. minced garlic
2 t. ground cumin
1) Mix ingredients together thoroughly with a whisk.
2) Transfer mixture to a tightly closed container with lid.
3) Store in a cool, dry place and use within 6 months.
