I am always looking for simple recipes that I can make quickly to take to a party or family gathering. My friend, Ashley, was telling me about dessert pizza and how it's her favorite thing to make because it's so simple, so I looked it up. And will be making this, this upcoming weekend to try it out :)
1 (18-oz.) package refrigerated sugar cookie dough
1 (8-oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
(THE NEXT ITEMS ARE FRUITS, BUT YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITES)
1/2 cup sliced banana
1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup seedless grapes, halved
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Press cookie dough evenly into a 12-inch pizza pan. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack.
3) Spread whipped topping over cooled crust. Arrange fruit in a decorative pattern. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
