"The Perfect Dress" was waiting to be found when our fans last checked in a few weeks ago. I asked you to stay tuned to find out if I picked my wedding dress and with no disappointment I can say that Step 4 is COMPLETE!!
A few Fridays back I went to try on my two favorite dresses with my mom and best friend, Sarah, to make the final decision to find the dress I will be walking down the aisle in.
First stop was Davids Bridal (my 1:00pm appointment) to try on dress #1, a ball gown. I had no hesitation to love this gown, considering it was one of the first dresses I had picked out from a magazine. My mom and Sarah also loved it, which made me believe that this could be my dress. While at my appointment I received a phone call from my 2:oopm appointment saying that they did not have the dress I wanted to try on anymore (just a side note--they called me at 1:15pm to tell me this). So I was slightly disappointed and mad because they called me 45 minutes before my appointment to tell me this and to not come if that was the only reason I was coming to Fort Wayne. I quickly got over it and it just meant I had more time to spend at David's Bridal. My consultant was such a sweetheart to me and helped me see exactly how I would look on my wedding day. We added shoes, jewelry, and a hair piece to make the dress really come together. The more I stood in front of the mirror, looking at my dress and how I looked, I fell in love with it and I knew THIS was my dress.
So as little details I gave you (because I still want Eric to be surprised) I am thrilled to have my wedding dress and shoes ordered. I am ONE step closing to having my perfect wedding.
