As my wedding is fast approaching , less than seven months away, I am slowly starting to see everything that needs to be done. People tell me not to get too excited because everything will get done. However, if any of you know me, I like things to go as planned, in order, and done way before they are suppose to be done.
Things I have checked off my list
- Find designer for invites and thank you notes
- Find someone to bake and decorate my cake
- Collecting ideas for centerpieces
- Asking the bridesmaids and groomsmen to be in the wedding
- Find a caterer
-Book a reception hall
- Book a church location
- Book photographer
- Purchase my perfect dress
- Begin the guest list
- Schedule rehearsal and dinner
- Decide on favors
- Create a wedding website
- Book a DJ
Things that still need to be checked off my list
- Finalize invitations
- Finalize my cake
- Finalize centerpieces
- Find bridesmaid dresses
- Meet with caterer and decide on food
- Take engagement pictures
- Finalize the guest list
- Book honeymoon
- Reserve hotels for out of town guests
- Pick out songs for the reception
- Pick out gifts for the members in my wedding (and others that have been a huge help through the process)
- Pick out programs
- Get my dress altered
- Get our marriage license
And these are only the things that I am thinking of now. I imagine there are plenty more small details to do.
