Boutique Bridal Bazaar 2015

Hey all! We're super excited to finally show you what we displayed at this year's Boutique Bridal Bazaar! Our goal was to think outside of the box and go in a totally different direction than we've ever gone before. I think we accomplished that ;)

Stylist, Brigit, took the bull by the horns with this project and really wowed us all! She incorporated the color palette, designed by Amanda, to create a whole new look. "I would describe it as romantic, elegant, warm, glamour", says Brigit. See for yourselves :)

Here is the original inspiration board that we used to draw ideas from. Now watch it come to life!

Oxblood has been named THE wedding color of 2015. We also have a deep love for gold that we like to incorporate whenever possible. Brigit put her vinyl and calligraphy skills to work to create these amazingly beautiful plates for the sweetheart table.

To achieve that glamorous, 1920s feeling, we added things such as this adorable bar cart, crystal liquor decanters, and champagne favors.

This gold sequin table cloth, by L'Nique, was a major draw in for many of the brides passing by. It added that extra texture and glam to the space that really made it pop! It also paired fabulously with those amazing gold-backed chairs furnished by Event Source.

Perhaps our most impressive feature was this amazing marquee backdrop! It was definitely a major focal point of the entire room. The lighting on this backdrop was the key to achieving that warm feeling we were going for. It also served as a brilliant display for some of our stationery :) Thanks Molly Taylor Designs for the gorgeous garland and floral!

So proud of this team for all we have accomplished in the 2015 thus far! And the year has only just begun ;)

Baci Designs | Stationery + Styling for the Spring/Summer 2013 Something White Look Book, Elegant Art Deco {Cleveland, Ohio}

Just as I was about to return from Maternity Leave, one of my favorite people - Karin of Something White Bridal Boutique - asked me to be a part of a lovely photo shoot for their very first ever Look Book!  While I was bit nervous planning something just as I was trying to ease back into my daily work routine (with the addition of one hungry little boy!), I couldn't pass up such an amazing opportunity.  I'm so happy that I took on the challenge - what I, alongside some of the best vendors in the area, was able to create was truly breathtaking.  Greyson was even able to get his first day of work in, too, as he tagged along and charmed all the ladies :)  See the whole Look Book (with another look styled by Baci!) here!

Karin had the vision for the Elegant Art Deco theme and I was able to run with the silver and slate blue theme based on the Pinterest Board she created (Honestly, Pinterest has been life changing to my career!  Sometimes I wonder how I functioned before without it, lol!).  On the stationery side, I designed and printed the round menus, as well as the gorgeous multi-layered table number.  For the styling, I borrowed amazing linens, chargers and napkin rings from our friends at Sitting Pretty Linens and finished off the design with the remarkable Ice Chiavari Chairs, glassware and flatware from Event Source.  Vintage rentals were provided by Borrow Vintage + Eclectic Rentals and the beautiful floral work was done by The Budding Tree of Hudson.  The incredible cake was done by Hummingbird Bake Shop and the incredible images were captured by Arielle Doneson Photography.

Baci Designs | Lexy's 30th Birthday Party Floral {Hudson, Ohio}

Working on floral projects for friends and family is always such a joy!  When our dear friend, Sam, came to me about floral and place cards for his wife Lexy's upcoming 30th Birthday Party I was thrilled.  I took the need for both and combined them creating these beautiful floral place cards.  I was in absolute love with the final result!

Baci Designs | Jami + Eric's Wedding {Defiance, Ohio}

October 8th, 2011 was the best day in my life.

I got to plan my own wedding with the help of my talented sister, Amanda. As most of you may know, Eric and I's wedding date was not only special to us, but to both of our parents as well. October 8th was Russ & Deb Jesse's and Tom & Jane Guilford's anniversary as well. When Eric and I got engaged, Eric called the K of C Hall in Defiance to see if October 8th was open..and IT WAS!!! We knew it was fate :)

Eric and I wanted to incorporate the special date into our wedding, well little did I know Grandma Shirley put Amanda in charge of getting a custom rosary made for me (Leaping with Faith did an amazing job!) and on the back of my cross there was Eric and I's wedding date and our parents!! It was perfect!!!! I also wanted to incorporate my grandfathers into our wedding because they both meant a lot to me and are no longer with us. I found a gorgeous vintage locket and put a picture of them in it. The rosary and locket hung from my bouquet and was close to my heart!!

Our photographer, Montana of Montography fromWauseon, Ohio did a fabulous job capturing special moments on our big day. One thing Eric and I knew we wanted were pictures having to do with baseball. Eric lives for summer AND fall playing ball at the park and I live to watch my husband do something he loves!! Eric gathered up his grandpa's old glove and an old ball bat to take with us on our wedding day (only in Northwest Ohio would that happen, ha). However, the props made for awesome pictures!!

I can't forget about my wonderful bridesmaids and groomsmen!!! They were super easy to pick and absolutely wonderful people to be part of our wedding!!!

Eric and I couldn't been any more pleased with how the day went, everything was perfect :)

baci designs | Laurinda's Baby Shower {Akron, Ohio}

When I was asked by mom, Carolyn, and sister-in-law, Lexy, to be a part of our Laurinda's Baby Shower (yay for another addition to baci's babies!!), I was thrilled - the Moore clan has always been like family to Ilario and I so to be included was very touching.

Carolyn, Lexy and I sat down and decided that a Tea Party Brunch would be just the perfect shower to host for Laurinda!  I started by creating the delicate stationery suite in soft pinks, greens and yellows - using thick white felt stock, girly fonts and feminine patterns.

The menus got a little extra touch with floral hole punches to decorate the corners.

I was lucky to be planning with such amazing ladies - Carolyn has a stash of green depression glass that couldn't have been more perfect for our tea party!!  The light appetizers - cucumber sandwiches, deviled eggs, cheese and crackers - were absolutely delightful.

I must say the dessert table was my favorite :o)  Carolyn made lemon squares, Lexy made her infamous madeleines and I baked adorable little tea pot sugar cookies and fresh fruit tartlets!  Everything was unbelievably delicious!!

The table set-up was beautiful with a lace table cloth, pink toile runner, green depression glass, gingham napkins, pink vases with wheat grass and finished off with the menus and place card/favor tea cup planters!

I couldn't have asked to be a part of something so special with such wonderful ladies - Lexy, Laurinda, Carolyn and I with the "One Moore Baby" tree :o)

baci's Table Design at the JStyle Weddings Bridal Event {Cleveland, Ohio}

Ilario, Caroline, Brittany and I had the pleasure of showcasing baci's work at the JStyle Weddings Bridal Event on Sunday, February 26th at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Cleveland. . . and it was AWESOME!  Not only was the event wonderfully coordinated by the folks at LinQ 2 Communications, the brides in attendance were full of amazing ideas and they even managed to bring along a few great hubbys-to-be, moms and even dads :o)

I must say that it was incredible to be able to create a table display perfectly in line with baci's sense of style (which happens to be my sense of style - lol!) - since all work we create is custom we strive to show our clients personalities and preferences in their designs (which we LOVE doing!!).  It was really cool to take the reigns and make it all about baci this time around.

The vintage shabby chic theme was perfectly accented with some fabulous products from Maria at HodgePodge Vintage Rentals - the pillars (which were the perfect place to hang our handmade bunting!), a few accents to our place setting (tea cup and saucer, anchor plate and wallpaper place mat), the gorgeous lace overlay and the distressed window (full of Jami and Eric's stationery!!) all added just the right touch!

We used the vintage type writer (my Grandma's find!) as a place to display one of our favorite handmade seeded paper suites and the library-type filer held a gorgeous letterpress suite - all of which you'll see more photos of soon!  Intern Brittany worked hard making the perfect addition of a terrarium, bunting and distressing our baci signage - I love how they all turned out :o)  The beautiful brown floral place setting (with a doily-punched menu and napkin-ring place card created just for the event!) was accented with another awesome seeded paper suite complete with unique table names, guest favors and hands-down the coolest escort cards ever - they're wax-sealed and open up to reveal the table name!!  To finish off the table design we added burlap, old books (from Jami and Eric's wedding - yay!), letterpress blocks and an gorgeous floral display in a vintage crate, created by yours truly (I put my Floral Design Class skills to work - lol!).

Check out some of the details photographer by the awesome Caroline - don't you just LOVE it?!?!?  We're super excited to showcase our skills at the Every Blooming Thing Wedding Planning Event this Saturday - it's a whole new display that you must see :o)
