Baci Designs | Ilario's 30th Birthday {Akron, Ohio}

One year ago today we celebrated my amazing hubby's 30th birthday - wow, time sure flies and it's better late than never to share these with you all!!  We started off by designing graphic grey and white invitations printed in-house on white linen, completed with a dark grey envelope hand-addressed in white.

We held the party for family and close friends at The Tangier Wine Cellar - a gorgeous venue with an awesome staff - and decorated the king's table in black linens with clear and mercury glass candle accents.  My mom brought along the fun Transformers cake to surprise the birthday boy!!

Here's wishing a very happy 31 to my loving husband and soon-to-be Daddy, Ilario!!!  Cheers :o)

Baci Designs | Jami + Eric's Wedding {Defiance, Ohio}

October 8th, 2011 was the best day in my life.

I got to plan my own wedding with the help of my talented sister, Amanda. As most of you may know, Eric and I's wedding date was not only special to us, but to both of our parents as well. October 8th was Russ & Deb Jesse's and Tom & Jane Guilford's anniversary as well. When Eric and I got engaged, Eric called the K of C Hall in Defiance to see if October 8th was open..and IT WAS!!! We knew it was fate :)

Eric and I wanted to incorporate the special date into our wedding, well little did I know Grandma Shirley put Amanda in charge of getting a custom rosary made for me (Leaping with Faith did an amazing job!) and on the back of my cross there was Eric and I's wedding date and our parents!! It was perfect!!!! I also wanted to incorporate my grandfathers into our wedding because they both meant a lot to me and are no longer with us. I found a gorgeous vintage locket and put a picture of them in it. The rosary and locket hung from my bouquet and was close to my heart!!

Our photographer, Montana of Montography fromWauseon, Ohio did a fabulous job capturing special moments on our big day. One thing Eric and I knew we wanted were pictures having to do with baseball. Eric lives for summer AND fall playing ball at the park and I live to watch my husband do something he loves!! Eric gathered up his grandpa's old glove and an old ball bat to take with us on our wedding day (only in Northwest Ohio would that happen, ha). However, the props made for awesome pictures!!

I can't forget about my wonderful bridesmaids and groomsmen!!! They were super easy to pick and absolutely wonderful people to be part of our wedding!!!

Eric and I couldn't been any more pleased with how the day went, everything was perfect :)

baci designs | Styled Tea Party Shoot with JaNicki Photography {Akron, Ohio} :: Featured in Baby Lifestyles

In the Spring, I had the amazing opportunity to work with my dear friend Margaret of JaNicki Photography on a Styled Tea Party Shoot for The Brazier Family!  We headed out to gorgeous Indigo Lake and the fun began :o)

I designed all of the stationery for the day with a "colorful patterned pinwheel" theme in mind - a beautiful customized invitation made especially for The Brazier Family, cute signage for the cupcakes, pinwheel place cards and even a bone-shaped place card for Sherman the Dog!  Sherman was even given a special bow tie for the day, made by Margaret.  Devona, Mom of The Brazier Family, runs Templeton Goods and she created all of the adorable cloth pieces for the day - from the pin wheel bunting to the girls' dresses.  That's one talented lady!

Margaret and I styled the shoot before the family arrived so they could get right into the business of having fun.  The result was beyond beautiful - a fun, loving family having the time of their lives (and some tea)!

An amazing thing that happened after the shoot:  it was featured in a 10-page spread in Baby Lifestyles 2012 Late Summer Issue!!  You can see the full feature here :o)

We would love to create a unique styled shoot for you and your family - if you're interested please contact either Margaret or me with your ideas!  It would be the perfect setting for a fun holiday portrait session :o)

Wedding Wednesday | Bright Star Styled Shoot with Arielle Doneson Photography + Kirkbrides {featured in Style Me Pretty}

Last Thursday, the biggest and most exciting thing ever happened - a styled shoot we worked on was featured in Style Me Pretty!!!  Today I'd love to share with you some of my favorite images of baci's work from the shoot, captured by my dear friend, Arielle Doneson Photography.  Enjoy!!

The gold glitter-framed guest book, while a bit messy, was beautiful and a fun alternative to the typical guest book that would sit around and collect dust after the event.

Creating the Vintage Book Page Table Runner was incredibly simple and super affordable, but the finished product is classy and elegant!  Stay tuned for a guest post on how to create the beauty on Fab You Bliss next month :o)

I used the John Keat's Bright Star Poem and the celestial theme of the shoot as inspiration for the stationery suite.  I wanted to create something totally different and out-of-the-box - so when I heard Arielle was creating hand-embroidered constellation favors, I knew just what the suite needed.  When finished, the entire invitation suite had the perfect vintage flair while still being modern and unique!  Bonus points if you can recognize the constellation I embroidered :o)

I jump at any chance I get to use vintage postage and thankfully I had just the perfect pieces for this suite!  I also created the envelopes myself because I wanted them to be just right - the navy envelope for the outer envelope is hand-addressed and has a gold liner, too!

Valerie of Kirkbrides did a wonderful job setting up the main table - it's so soft and luxurious!

Once again, I wanted to put a little non-traditional spin on the menus so I printed them in peach and had them wrap around the napkins to serve a dual purpose!  They were honestly one of my favorite pieces that I created for the shoot.

The simple place cards got a little kick with navy glittered clothes pins attaching them to the water glasses - they turned out fantastic!

Once again, inspired by the John Keat's Poem - I designed a chair sign that appears to simply say, "Bright Star", but when you look close the entire poem is lightly inscribed in the background.  The sheer navy ribbon complimented it perfectly!!

I feel so blessed to have been a part of something so beautiful - cheers to everyone who made it possible:  Featured Vendors - Photography: Arielle Doneson Photography, Event Design: Arielle Doneson Photography and Kirkbrides, Event Planning: Kirkbrides, Cinematography: Attention 2 Detail Films, Flowers: Bouquet Studio, Venue: Walden, Vintage Rentals: Hodge Podge Vintage Rentals, Event Rentals: Event Source, Lighting/Draping: Rock the House, Tux: Astor & Black, Dress: Amy Kuschel Paris, courtesy of Something White, Hair and Makeup: Ramona Dauksa Studio, Jewelry: Clagett Designs, Cake: A Cookie & A Cupcake.

baci designs | Laurinda's Baby Shower {Akron, Ohio}

When I was asked by mom, Carolyn, and sister-in-law, Lexy, to be a part of our Laurinda's Baby Shower (yay for another addition to baci's babies!!), I was thrilled - the Moore clan has always been like family to Ilario and I so to be included was very touching.

Carolyn, Lexy and I sat down and decided that a Tea Party Brunch would be just the perfect shower to host for Laurinda!  I started by creating the delicate stationery suite in soft pinks, greens and yellows - using thick white felt stock, girly fonts and feminine patterns.

The menus got a little extra touch with floral hole punches to decorate the corners.

I was lucky to be planning with such amazing ladies - Carolyn has a stash of green depression glass that couldn't have been more perfect for our tea party!!  The light appetizers - cucumber sandwiches, deviled eggs, cheese and crackers - were absolutely delightful.

I must say the dessert table was my favorite :o)  Carolyn made lemon squares, Lexy made her infamous madeleines and I baked adorable little tea pot sugar cookies and fresh fruit tartlets!  Everything was unbelievably delicious!!

The table set-up was beautiful with a lace table cloth, pink toile runner, green depression glass, gingham napkins, pink vases with wheat grass and finished off with the menus and place card/favor tea cup planters!

I couldn't have asked to be a part of something so special with such wonderful ladies - Lexy, Laurinda, Carolyn and I with the "One Moore Baby" tree :o)
