2014 Handpicked | A Different Kind of Bridal Event

As we're vamping up for Handpicked 2015, we thought we would look back on last year's event :)  Many of the wonderful vendors at the first Handpicked, returned with more gorgeousness. And we were also so happy to have several new vendors jump on board. Together, we created a beautiful, whimsical evening for our guests. Complete with food, music, photo booths, snow cones, and bonfires!

Hine's Hill Conference Center provided the setting for our beautiful outdoor event last summer. The space is filled with trees surrounding a gorgeous stone building and a small barn for an intimate reception. It was a great place for our guests to come see, taste, and hear all of the amazing offerings that our local, Northeast Ohio vendors have in store. 1}  Trash the Bridesmaid Dress Shoot - I absolutely love this post! Mainly because I totally wish I could have been there! It looks like they're having so much fun just being goofy and, on top of it, they got some amazing pictures in the end. I mean, what else are you gonna do with that old bridesmaid dress that's been sitting in your closet for years?

Special Edition :: Behind the Scenes at Our Chevron-inspired Shoot

Yesterday, our 1970's Chevron-inspired Bridal Shower Shoot was featured on 100 Layer Cake and we honestly could not be more thrilled!!  The day of the shoot we enlisted the talents of Margaret at JaNicki Photography to capture some of the moments behind the scenes so people could see what goes into making a Styled Shoot happen.  It's really awesome to look back at these photos and see all of the amazing people that made this all possible.

Baci Designer Featured on 100 Layer Cake!!

I can't even begin to tell you how ecstatic I am about Baci's feature on 100 Layer Cake today!!  It is truly a dream come to true to see a vision I had in my head come to life, let alone have it published on one of my absolute favorite blogs :o)  The 1970's Chevron-inspired Bridal Shower Shoot was a fabulous collaboration with the following dream team of vendors:

baci designs | Styled Tea Party Shoot with JaNicki Photography {Akron, Ohio} :: Featured in Baby Lifestyles

In the Spring, I had the amazing opportunity to work with my dear friend Margaret of JaNicki Photography on a Styled Tea Party Shoot for The Brazier Family!  We headed out to gorgeous Indigo Lake and the fun began :o)

I designed all of the stationery for the day with a "colorful patterned pinwheel" theme in mind - a beautiful customized invitation made especially for The Brazier Family, cute signage for the cupcakes, pinwheel place cards and even a bone-shaped place card for Sherman the Dog!  Sherman was even given a special bow tie for the day, made by Margaret.  Devona, Mom of The Brazier Family, runs Templeton Goods and she created all of the adorable cloth pieces for the day - from the pin wheel bunting to the girls' dresses.  That's one talented lady!

Margaret and I styled the shoot before the family arrived so they could get right into the business of having fun.  The result was beyond beautiful - a fun, loving family having the time of their lives (and some tea)!

An amazing thing that happened after the shoot:  it was featured in a 10-page spread in Baby Lifestyles 2012 Late Summer Issue!!  You can see the full feature here :o)

Wedding Wednesday | Styled Beach Shoot Stationery {Knoxville, Tennessee}

How amazing things slip through without being featured on the blog, I'll never know - I do know that going forward it won't continue to happen because I have a blog schedule that goes out over a month in advance!  Nothing's getting past this lady any more :o)

I previously mentioned that the stationery we designed for a beautiful Styled Beach Shoot by Shannon Kelley Photography and In Flight was featured on Love Like Oceans, but I never shared my favorite images from the shoot.  Enjoy and come back tomorrow to see another shoot we were part of recently!!
