Baci Featured in JStyle Weddings Magazine | Custom Stationery

While I was on Maternity Leave, some of our favorite designs were featured in the local JStyle Weddings Magazine!  We love the way they incorporated our pieces in these fun, style pages!

I'm so completely in love with Rustic Weddings - here are nine gorgeous ideas to incorporate into your own!!

1) Tissue Poms on Etsy - 10 for $20
2) I Do Pumpkins on Ruffled Blog - You need two pumpkins and a very talented person to carve "I do" perfectly into pumpkins :) This is great for fall weddings!!!
3) Wooden Wishing Tree Tags on Etsy - 100 for $80
4) Escort Cards on Style Me Pretty - I love how people set up their escort cards and this couple used two ladders with what looks like to be wire or twine, love this idea!!!
5) Drink Table on Houston Station Nashville - It's vintage, simple, but amazing!! I love the set up!!!  It resembles the drink table we had for my bridal shower with the milk, lemonade, and water.
6) Dessert Bar on Sweet and Saucy Shop - They are becoming more and more popular!
7) Wedding Programs on Beyond, Beyond - This couple put their wedding programs on a paper bag that was filled with confetti, to toss after the wedding....how genius!!
8) Crates on Rustic Wedding - How gorgeous is this!! They used crates for an altar to hold their unity candle!!!
9) Chalkboards on Rustic Wedding - Simple...buy a chalkboard and write a message to your guests. I love the one they chose "As two families are becoming one. We ask that you choose a seat and not a side"

Handpicked | Autumn Interiors

My personal preference for home decor includes autumn colors and a rustic feel. It's a great way to make a home feel warm and welcoming :)

1) I think that these red and brown hues from Design Seeds compliment each other well. The plum color is also a nice accent color!
2) I absolutely love these lanterns and they can be found in so many different designs. This particular set from Save-on-Crafts keeps the rustic feel with wooden frames.
3) This wooden and leather ottoman from Pottery Barn is a great piece for a family room or lounge.
4) A big cabinet set from Pottery Barn is perfect for any room in the house! So much storage and a great way to tie the room together :)
5) The iron mirror from Bed Bath and Beyond helps fill some wall space.
6) Some wooden frames, like these from Craft Warehouse can personalize your space.
7) Ladder Shelves are awesome! I already have some :) These are from Art & Artifact.
8) I've always liked the look of a big clock above the mantel. Here is a great DIY idea from RemodelingTherapy!
9) A homemade star like this one adds character to a room.

baci's Display at the Every Blooming Thing Wedding Planning Event {Akron, Ohio}

This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to set up a display for baci at the Every Blooming Thing Wedding Planning Event at the Every Blooming Thing Floral Shop in Akron (which you really must check out - there are so many goodies to be had!!).  It was the most gorgeous day with sunlight shining in all of the big, beautiful windows and we had such a wonderful time!!  I also got the chance to hang out with amazing Scott and Kevin of Every Blooming Thing, the beautiful Margaret of JaNicki Photography, the super sweet Kris of Mayatux and the über talented Sonja of Poppy Designs - it was quit the fab group of people to be around :o)

Once again, I rented some awesomeness from HodgePodge Vintage Rentals - I don't know where I'd be without Maria ;o)  She provided the two rustic ladders that matched my vision perfectly!!  I then hung burlap bunting (once again handmade by the lovely Brittany!) alternated with twine-strung custom designed escort cards (made especially for the event).  Since we were at a floral shop we took the idea for our Abbey Rose Gift Sets and turned some of our favorite invitation suites (a few you've seen and a few more recent ones you might not have!) into "blooming" works of art!  We chose to display designs in greens, blacks, browns and blues to coincide with our rustic theme, but to also add a "pop" of color :o)

I accented baci's design work with a brand new hand-drawn baci chalkboard (it may be my new favorite thing EVER!), our fancy new boutique information cards, vintage letterpress forms, old books, a few bronzed tea lights, antique display forks (made by my Grandma's rockin' boyfriend, Howard!) and the cool terrarium Brittany created that made it's initial appearance at the JStyle Weddings Bridal Event.  I honestly was 100% in love with the way it all turned out and I hope you're smitten, too :o)
